Network Survey and Asset Mapping Service
The infrastructure and assets owned and operated by energy companies are in a constant state of flux. Network assets are continually being added, moved or replaced, either directly by the utility, or by sub-contractors or other agencies. This type of work is often planned, but sometimes it can be performed in response to an emergency in order to maintain system integrity. The task of maintaining accurate records is therefore complex and never ending.
We offer a service for identifying network assets and documenting the following information on GIS maps:
- Geographical location
- Asset identity
- Technical information
Extensive field surveys are carried out by our experienced team to identify the assets and the electrical connectivity forming the network.
The geo-coordinates are captured as part of the network survey and plotted over a base map using comprehensive GIS documentation software.
