Mainscom

Mainscom is the name of our family of direct-connected smart meters with integrated two-way power-line carrier (PLC) communications facility. They are part of the MeterLink system that provides full end-to-end automatic meter reading (AMR) functionality including half-hourly profile data. An internal disconnection switch enables full prepayment functionality, but Mainscom meters can also be used in credit mode. Mainscom meters support multi-rate time-of-use (TOU) and block tariffs, which can be remotely programmed. Reverse running and tamper detection facilities are also provided. Optional interfaces enable Mainscom meters to act as an AMR gateway for gas or water meters.

Mainscom 1:
Single-phase version suitable for LV circuits up to 100 A

Mainscom 3:
Three-phase version suitable for LV circuits up to 80 A per phase
