CT/VT operated meters or instrument transformer operated meters are installed for metering HT (HV) consumers and utility feeders. These meters are high precision and are installed for billing and also for energy audit purposes.

They comply with the international metering standards and are able to withstand high voltages. These meters come in accuracy class of 0.2S, 0.5S and 1.0, use is dependant on the type of metering, industrial consumer metering or feeder metering. These meters offer load profile, time of day (TOD) metering, event logging, billing data logging along with energy and demand measurements coupled with communication ports for local and remote data retrieval.
