Electricity meters are the main source of revenue for energy suppliers. Without accurate metering data the supplier will lose revenue. Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that metering installations are installed and maintained correctly, in order to ensure that consumers are billed correctly. Sometimes meters are installed incorrectly, with wires swapped over, or instrument transformers incorrectly configured. Electricity meters have a long service life and are subject to the harshest of electrical conditions and they are often targeted directly by people attempting to tamper with them. For all these reasons it is desirable to test meters and associated equipment periodically in service.
We have a family of in-field energy meter test equipment, called Accuchek. Each model in the range is a rugged portable unit, housing a high-precision master meter with integral computational unit for meter errors and a full set of connecting leads and probes.
Accuchek-1
Designed for testing single-phase electronic or electro-mechanical meters. The mounting arrangement of the optical sensor is flexible, allowing it to be used with any type of meter. Operation is menu-driven for ease of use and the enclosure is rugged, ensuring years of reliable service in the field.
Accuchek LT+
Designed for testing low-voltage whole-current or CT-operated energy meters. Different clamp-on CTs are available to suit CT ranges. Different variants of clamp-on CT are available. Operation is menu-driven for ease of use and the enclosure is rugged, ensuring years of reliable service in the field. Accuchek LT+ can be used to test single-phase or three-phase meters.
Accuchek HT+
Designed for testing high-voltage meters. Easy setup with automatic testing helps in catering to utility needs. Operation is menu-driven for ease of use and the enclosure is rugged, ensuring years of reliable service in the field.
